Yeah Kev, I took advantage of the sale and bought the Man from Planet X (even though his head is too small) and The beast from 20,000 Fathoms.

I built the Man From Planet X but I wanted it to be like the movie as it was my very first sci fi movie so I added lighting to it, but it has a solid resin chest box with some details inside the circular front but I scratch built one from styrene and added lights with a light inside the helmet it was one of my most difficult builds but one of my favorite builds too, good luck with your build, I took advantage of that sale and bought the Kane with the Alien egg kit. Cool. I have Man from Planet X as well, but it's a little rough. :| I saw a "Man" lit up at one of the NJ "Fests" - it looked very cool. I always wanted to try lighting, but I dunno.
I'm looking to get either the Phantom Planet alien, or the Nightmare Duel...

I had to make a new hose to hide the wires to the helmet using an O ring jig to make tiny O rings slipped them over plastic tubing for the wires to fit into, worked pretty good and I had to make new air bottles for the batteries it was a fun project though. Karl

I haven't looked at my "Man" for some time, but I do remember the air bottles were less than symmetrical, and I had thought of replacing those. Come to think of it I think I wanted to redo the box on his chest as well... I'm going to have to pull him out and have another look.
