Now THAT is an obit... No cookie cutter mentality there!!!
I wouldn't be surprised if he had a hand in writing it, and if
not, he would probably give it two thumbs up. Great stuff!!!

The deceased sounds like a bit of a dick to me. Good obituary, though.

Leon Redbone's website (which has just gone offline due to expiration of the address just a week after his death on May 31 2019) had a great obit (some speculated that he may have had a hand in crafting it himself). Here's the Internet Wayback Machine arichive screen shot:
