There are areas of our communities that have to suffer the worst of modern "journalism". Those in the police force seem particularly maligned these days.
It was wonderful to see THIS today - a POSITIVE article - showing grace, calm and authority (and a novel temporary solution!) https://www.bbc.com/news/av/world-us-canada-57885400
I have endless admiration for the Police, Firemen, medical staff, security forces & others - people who do jobs I would never have the ability or courage to do.
These people are under pressure and dangers that those of us with "office jobs" cannot possibly comprehend.
To any of you that read this that are (or have been) in any such profession - thank-you!

Withe defund the police running rampant here in the States, and elsewhere I guess, it is good see a "pro" article.
I did a bunch of years in the emergency services here in NYC, and today, you couldn't give me a gazillion $$ to take the job. And to care... rather than just going thru the motions. Hugely commendable!
