Remembrance Day/Veterans Day

#1 Post by derekc62 »

Hoping all of you will be able to see this post (I think I set it to public)

On this Remembrance Day (in Canada) I invite you to view the story I produced about my father in 2014 as he and I prepared to return to Normandy for the 70th anniversary of D-Day.

The story is self-explanatory.

Sadly, my father would die just seven months later...

I guess I didn't set it to Public...

Let's see if I can figure this out without exposing my entire life to the universe....

You should be able to just make that one post "Public". I've done that before with no problem.

Okay, let's try this again...

The video is now set to "Public"

Please excuse the lead in - it was sent to me with the 15 seconds of extras at the start and I couldn't edit them out at home.

Also - it was set to SD so the quality on this one's not the best.

Loved it. My Dad fought with the partisans against the Germans and Italians behind enemy lines in occupied Yugoslavia. Brought back memories of talking to him about his "close calls" many decades ago. Thanks for posting. :like
