Down here in South Texas, it was warm, dry ... and the LEGAL fireworks outside city limits where we live made for a VERY nice show from our back porch. No need to travel anywhere! (Need I tell you again how GREAT it is living in Texas? Did you know, for example, that in 2018 the Texas State Legislature OUTLAWED traffic enforcement cameras in the entire state? Man I LOVE it here! :D )

BTW, When the smoke wafts down I get flashbacks to my deployment to Bosnia ... where I was witness to our long-distance artillery and missile and gattling gun firing Apache helicopters obliterate target buses and cars parked on a mountainside firing range ... it was just a demonstration for the locals to keep them well-behaved ... ahhhhh ... nothing like the smell of gunpowder in the morning!! :rolf:
