Kanna Dinosaur Museum Ornithomimus Paint Up

#1 Post by bucketfoot-al »

I just finished repainting this guy and I am so pleased I wanted to share. No customization here, just a more believable paint job.

The man who gets credit (again) for teaching me the "oil wash" technique that made this paint up possible is, of course, Bill "Monster" Jones. Thanks Bill!!!

The photos don't fully capture the nuance and the depth of detail that the aforementioned technique has layered onto the model, but you'll get the idea ...
