Crocodile models

#1 Post by Sixx »

Can somebody point me in the right direction...looking for a realistic 1/20th scale or smaller, resin, plastic, or even a toy that looks real, of a Nile Crocodile?

In plastic you can check out Tamiya's Mesozoic Creatures - it might be a little on the small size at 1/35. The croc is curving but is around 4.5 inches in length. You can also look into toys, Papo has an excellent Nile croc (8 inches or so) that has detail nicer than some resin kits and Schleich has a very nice croc too. And if you want to go super pricey, the Resident Evil Board game had a giant alligator expansion you can probably pick up on ebay.

Shane Foulkes has a line on a fella from China that has done some OUTSTANDING work on some crocodiles close to that scale - I bought three of them at Wonderfest -
