****List of Primers to use

#1 Post by Pun13 »

Complied is a list of primers used by our members and are highly recommended.

Primers can be found at your local Hobby shop, Home Depot
Automotive store, Art Store, Walmart or online.

Please feel to pm with any questions you might have.

Thanks
Tom

1) DupliColor - sprays smooth on the kit, and dries quickly.
2) Krylon - Applies nicely, dries fast, compatable with any paint applied over it.
3) Plasti-Kote -
4) Alclad II's Grey- Used with an Airbrush to apply to your kit.
5) Floqui

I just got a hold of one of my grail kits: the ABC War Robot from Judge Dredd. It's been ages since I worked on a vinyl kit. What is the best primer and glue these days for vinyl kits?

Are all of these primers good for airbrush? Does anyone use that on polymer clay?
