I need the old Blade Runner. I need your magic.

Hard to believe this film came out in 1982, but I think it holds up pretty well. This kit was produced by M-1 in 1991, which makes it the oldest kit I have (aside from the Aurora stuff). It's 1/6 scale resin and was sculpted by Massasu Kosaka. The Blaster is 3 pieces and in white metal. The base did not come with the kit. Considering the time it was produced, the fit was really good. The coat was 4 pieces, but really went together well. The likeness to Harrison Ford could be better, but overall pretty good.

Not sure who put together his wardrobe, but a burgundy/blue shirt, orange jacket, brown coat and that tie! Sheesh.

I tried to depict him as being out in the rain, but took it as far as my feeble skills allowed.

I'm surprised there aren't more Blade Runner kits out there.

I'd say you got the wet look. You also did a fine job on the paint scheme and application. I agree this is probably one of the better depictions of Ford. Some of the others in the Gallery have only a passing resemblance. I also uploaded your submissions to the Sci/Fi album. Thank you.

One of the best sci-fi movies of all time, if not the best.

Good job!

Thanks Spock! Thanks Tim!

I agree on the sculpt of Ford being one of the better ones out there, and agree on the film being one of the best sci-fi films. I watched it several times trying to pick up little details and each time was very enjoyable.

Nice work, nailed it. Love this movie and you made me want to watch it again.

A very good rendition of Deckard. Nice attempt at the rain. Pop over to Buc Wheats site and check under spotlight on. You'll find loads of Bladerunner kits there

Thanks, Buc. Didn't realize there were that many, but I never see them for sale. Probably not looking in the right places.....
