Takeya Pumpkinhead
Finally managed to paint this Takeya masterpiece from the 90s. It isn't an easy kit to build (vinyl ). I had to fill it with wire and resin to stabilize it. Airbrush, brushwork and a lot of washes.
Thanks for looking

Re: Takeya Pumpkinhead
Holy crap! That looks amazing.
And yeah, it looks like a nightmare to build. Especially vinyl. So many long thin pieces to fight gravity.
The paint really does this beautiful kit justice. I love all the undertones and the fantastic shading.

Geez - THAT (good Sir) is incredible
Without a doubt, one of the very best (if not THE best) builds I've ever seen of this in over 17 years!
That wooden base is PERFECT too.
Amazing work - and thanks so much for taking the time to share

Amazing. Every detail brought out, nailed the color and the steps are excellent.

Thanks for all your feedback. It is very much appreciated. It is allways a challenge and a pleasure to have a great kit and try to do it justice.

Scary, creepy, incredibly well-painted (and well-thought out so you don't get the "post-build up vinyl sagging")!
