My Simon Bisley kits/statue, The quest to own all continues.

#1 Post by ranato »

Here is my collection of Simon Bisley kits that I`ve got, some with the Help from people here at The Clubhouse (thank you).
Most of the kits are not done, but my kids are my ultimate enjoyment.
There is still some Bisley kits to get and even more coming out but as always, not enough money, so little time. I`m not the best painter but I give it crack.
Any input would be greatly appreciated as there is not many people in Australia into resin kits. 99% of model shops over here don`t have resin kits for that reason.
Please don`t get me wrong I love my country just wish it had a bigger market for this hobby.
If you know of any Simon Bisley kits out there that are not in this post, Please give information so I can track it down and hopefully buy it. Thanks to all that helped me in my quest to own all the Bisley kits and statues.

PS: sorry about the pics my camera is`nt the best.

Image

From Diceman Creations is JASON vs LEATHER. Worst casting ever,
from bubbels to missing detail and holes. The chain saw only had 8 teeth that were good out of 45 due to air bubbles, also one side of the chain saw had no detail at all like it was molded on a flat surface. I contacted Diceman and sent pics of the problem and was told thats how it was sculpted. Also when done it will look good. ( based on Bisley )
Image
This is the chain saw blade ,I`m still fixing it. the teeth on the end is what they used to look like, this was the side that was flat with no detail and shiny.
Image

why don't you PM Gards - he is in Australia as far as I know. Look forward to seeing your pictures - as for looking at old pieces, I do that but it's kind of fun seeing the progress I have made from the early stuff. :D

Thanks doane100. Bloodhammer and Jaguar God I painted my self,
I dry brushed the skin (old school style) last coat lightly air brushed
over the top to blend the different shades brown.
But by the looks of your Savage Snake Slayer I think your skills are
way beyond mine. That work so far on the blood looks unbelievably gory,a blood bath of guts, I love it

Cool looking stuff, man.

The Judge Dredd statue never made it to AUS, the bloke said
Shipping it self would be $400.00 what a joke.
