MEDUSA The Gorgon.......FINISHED!!
Hey gang,
After a very long (from my perspective at least! ) hiatus, I finally managed to get some time and paint a kit! I couldn't have chosen a better kit than Black Heart Enterprises' Medusa!
Beautiful sculpt, pristine casting and one of my all time favorite movie characters... What more can a kit painter ask for??
Please click the icons for larger versions of each pic.
Anyways, hope you all like it and thanks for looking:

Absolutely awsome!
And even more importantly (imo), the amazing work of Ali is back to inspire us all.
Very happy to see you painting again.

Wow! Now that's a sweet paintup of this bust. I especially like how you painted the underside of the snakes.

Damn this kit... Every time I see it, I want it!!!
Especially after seeing it with the snakes the same.
The others (with all the snakes different) have at
least intimidated me into not buying it!!! Uhggg!!!
Beautiful Job Ali... And welcome back!!!

Certainly the most menacing paintup to date, IMHO. Those dreads are frightening.

I so love this sculpt. I'm really diggin' your paint job, too - it's a bit different from what I've seen before and I like it.

Nice work Ali, this is the first rendition I have seen with all the vipers one color and it works really well.

Re: MEDUSA The Gorgon.......FINISHED!!
Thanks for the kind words guys!
For the choice of colors of the snakes, I initially wanted to go with a more faithful scheme like in the movie...As I was doing a bit of research on snake patterns, I came across the below pic and I just knew I HAD to go with a similar look!
