GW Giant - Nurgle Daemon Prince conversion

#1 Post by AngelGrinder »

Having a break with some of the lush new Death Guard stuff and grabbed a GW Giant and got
funky with the Greenstuff for a half armoured, half rotting flesh Daemon Prince - the axe is
a spear scythe head from Deathshroud Terminators with a bent bit of wire for the shaft.

As it's a wargaming mini seemed better here rather than in customizing action figures, will post when the paint
goes on

and a frontal shot - had to put the figure further away and use zoom so hopefully does the job

thanks for the comment, the shine is just from the Tamiya Smoke, I'm currently putting matt varnish
over everything except the tongues and blood/muscle and hoping that works - using an acrylic wood varnish
as an experiment, will post some more pics soon.

Got a 500 points Tale of Gamers set of Death Guard Terminators, Plague Marines and Cultists nearing completion
and will pop some pics up of them with the Tamiya Smoke work and before I put it on

acrylic wood varnish is ok but when i tried it few years back it turned yellow , so keep that in mind chap.

if you want good clear gloss varnish then this is great stuff https://www.pullingers.com/c/72148/liqu ... gIzcPD_BwE

as for the the other gaming figures i dont have a clue which ones they are ...... im not into gaming but i recently bought a couple of kits to paint up and im starting to look at them more as there are some really interesting figures etc.
these are the few i bought so far ......
