I'm Your Huckleberry

#1 Post by kevtk135 »

This kit (1/9) is from CGS Miniatures and is the perfect likeness of Val Kilmer as Doc Holiday in the movie Tombstone.
Skimming thru the movie to find where he was dressed in the outfit (the end) I found it and made a little collage to bring to my hobby desk.

And started base coating the skin and clothes -

Here's where I noticed the coat was a little too light. I just darkened down the gray with a little brown. IMHO the coat seemed to go back and forth from mostly gray to mostly brown. I just went 1/2 in between.

Painted in a few details and I'm calling this one done. I swapped out the "stone" pedestal base for a gnarly wooden one I had around. Thanks for looking and as always CCs always welcomed.

Thanks. His pale expression was foremost on my mind. He was far from a healthy guy.
