Aradia's Charon Vignette

#1 Post by kevtk135 »

It was prolly over the winter that Aradia had a Kickstarted for figures based on Dante's Inferno. I ended up getting Ulysses, The Gorgon (a sort of Medusa), and Charon. I just finished up Charon the other day.

As I was putting this together, I realized that I mad a major goof. The demon(#1) who has his arm thrust forward, was glued in place a little too forward. This made the second demon also too far forward, making the lost soul too far forward.

I noticed this when the other side of Demon #1 did not meet up with the water. How could I have missed that?!? The only thing to do besides trying to pull him off and chance breaking him, was to get out the Aves, and create a wave extension. This is what I did. I think I did a decent job of masking the goof.

Thanks for looking.

That looks great!

And nice recovery from the mistake.
We've all been there. And you are right, sometimes it's better to make modifications, than try to take things apart.

Wow - nicely done. Lot of action going on there. You did a great job hiding your mishap - I'd never notice it. How big is the figure?

Thanks Steve,
I didn't have my tape measure nearby, so I stuck a soda can in the pic -

IIRC you can go to the Aradia site and pick one up. I don't know if they are doing all that was in the KS for general sale, but I saw Charon available.

That's some cool paintjob.
I've participated on the KS too. I still have to paint a few kits before I can get to the Aradia's minis, though.

Thanks. I hear ya. I have about 3 or 4 KS models to paint up. Thankfully I don't play the games and just get the game for the handful of larger, cool minis. ;)
