Irish Folklore - Laignach Faelad

#1 Post by Spyda »

Back before Ireland fought with England, the land was divided into Kingdoms who fought eachother to take eachother's land. It is said that a king could hire the tribe called the Laignach Faelad. It was said that they are either Werewolves, or dressed as wolves, or perhaps turned from man to wolf. The king who hired them would win the battle every time. Payment would be the flesh of newborns.
