How to simulate leather on resin figures w/ acrylic paint.

I'm wanting to paint a 1800's type long dark brown leather coat with acrylic paint what is the recipe of colors ? thank you. Karl

My usual route is Citadel Mounfang Brown with Citadel Sepia wash and drybrush a lighter brown (which one escapes me at the moment) for raised areas.

Sippog thank you this is helpful I'm looking to dark brown but this will help with the boots and will help with other projects as well. Karl

I used big messy sploges of varios shades of brown,then used Vallejo washes layered in.
