They posted over the weekend that their room block was sold out.
They were gonna try and get some more rooms, but don't know how successful that will be.

Latest update on the hotel

Liquitex paint has a product called gel retardation ..
It's basically the simple as using oils..
I can get same effect .. without the smell or wait time.
I often wonder over time if oil paint would attack making it sticky..
Googled various articles on oil over acrylic it basically says not good idea.
Can peel rendering acrylics unstable.

More classes need to taught about hand brushing acrylics

That is what the other AFM class is. Hand brushing acrylics.

As to the use of oils. Modelers have been doing it for decades. I am sure if it were a problem there would be tons of horror stories about it.

Agree. Once they dry and sprayed w/ an overcoat of sealer, never
had any problems.
