Want-A-Fest Fundraiser Raffle

#1 Post by tay666 »

I figured I needed to do a separate thread for this portion of the event.

INSTRUCTIONS AND INFORMATION!!!

Welcome to the Want-A-Fest Fundraiser. Like the model contest, the proceeds from this event are being donated to Wonderfest. We have many very generous contributions from companies and individuals that support and participate at Wonderfest each year. We thank everyone for their contributions and kindness.

We recognize that many model builders have very specific interests. One person may like figures while another may prefer a spaceship. With this in mind, you will be purchasing “tickets” for specific prizes. We want you to win something you really want! Higher valued prizes will have higher ticket prices.

We also know that this event is of interest to modelers from around the world. However, given the size and weight of some prizes, there are limitations on international shipping. Some items cannot be shipped out of the US. Some items will require the winner to pay international shipping. Please note this before you purchase your tickets.

We will have a Second Chance drawing for several additional items that will be open to everyone that purchased a ticket but did not win a prize.
A list of all prizes and photos will be posted on the Want-A-Fest Event Group page.

Just a heads-up.
But there may be a delay in drawing the raffle prizes.

There hasn't been official word yet, but Cult mentioned during his livestream on Model Club TV that it might get pushed back.
As I mentioned in the other thread, there has been such a huge response to the contest that they are still trying to get all that sorted and up for viewing.
This means they haven't gotten to the raffle part of the event yet.

I will keep everyone posted as I learn more.
