I'll start perusing your hard work tomorrow.
Good luck with the rest - and (in advance) - much appreciated
Looks like some of the ones you said were "still to do's" are now available.
• I didn't spot anything I wanted from the dealers tables (other than the 2-year-old Pumpkinhead wallhanger that others took pics of but I didn't spot in yours).
• There were plenty of people I recognised that I'd one day love to meet though
• Tons of exceptional stuff in the contest & displays areas - the 4 I kept coming back to were the floaty female grim reaper, the brood Wolverine, the spider battle diorama and the "2nd form" shin godzilla diorama.
• Your "experiences" page is always the section I enjoy most - so I'm still looking forward to that once you have chance to get it sorted (the link on your main 2022 page currently points to the 2021 details).
Great pics Trev - thanks for all the time & effort so far
Hopefully by the end of the weekend.
It is in progress. Thur is done, Fri is more than half complete. The page for the painting class is started and about 1/3 done.
The weather here has been nice the last few days, so I have been sidetracked by outdoor activities.
Supposed to start heating up again tomorrow, so I'll probably be in the house most of the weekend, and can finish things up.

Good to hear - it'll be ready when it's ready - no point rushing
That's the great thing about this current house, the yard work isn't bad at all.
About 15 minutes to mow. Very few branches to pick up.
I've actually been out doing stuff.
Sanded and painted the basement hatch last weekend.
Took the dog down to the lake for a couple hours on Wed.
And I have been working on a few kits.
Just a heads-up . . . pics 8 & 9 on your "Saturday" page link to pic 6.
Where are you in the group photo? - I remember the times when we used to add all the names - happy memories
Loved reading that . . . not too detailed, with just the right amount of info to make me feel like I was there (if only!)
Seriously - I really appreciate the effort . . . thanks for all the material & pics you collected and then painstakingly shared . . . you allow us to attend virtually/vicariously
(* PS: What's with the elevator complaints? - don't they have stairs in that hotel? *)

Right half of the phote, the guy with the yellow shirt. If you look over his shoulder, that is me throwing back a Molson.

There are stairs to the 2nd floor right near the elevators. Other than that, there are only the emergency stairs way down at the far end of either hallway.
Yes that was my spider. My first toe-dip into the miniature world.
That was the kit at mostly complete. I still have plans to do a diorama base for it, and once I have it situated, add some more highlights and shadows to the spider to make it fit a bit better.
I didn't want to add the highlights while is was sitting flat like that, as I plan to have it coming down a tree so the lighting direction is going to be completely different.
