I attended the PennCon show a couple of Saturdays ago. It is an IPMS Show, hosted by (I think) the Harrisburg and Carlisle Chaptefs of IPMS.

Although I attended as a vendor, I was able to get away a bit, and enjoy some of the models which appeared in their contest.

I've posted my associated report on the show here: https://www.scififantmodmadrealm.com/PennCon2022-1.html

(Happy Reading)!

That was a fun, quick read.
Glad you had a good time.
The likeness on that Captain America is amazing!

Thanks, Trevor.

(Quite the departure from my usual LARGE Wonderfest Show Reports, huh)? :D

The show WAS fun! My only regret (which is the case with all of the shows I've been doing as a Vendor) is I really didn't get a chance to break away, since I didn't have anyone there as my "backup".

I would have liked to get away and visit the main show room to also take some pictures of the models on the tables in there.

Also, the museum had some re-enactments and other related activities taking place outside. Unfortunately, by the time the show was over, most everything outside had ended.

With the MarauderCon Show - (which takes place down in Harve De Grace, Maryland) - quickly approaching, I may try to be a bit pre-emptive, and see if I know of anyone also attending the show who might be able to mann my table for a bit, while I go out and play.

Wrt that Captain America, yes. I also really liked the Thor and Iron Man figures.

I liked both of those figures as well. The Iron Man paint was really great too, just couldn't save the head sculpt which I felt was off.
And Thor's face IMHO looked nothing like the actor.

Yeah, Trevor!

Although I think they were painted up pretty well, when looking at all three: Captain America, Ironman/Tony Stark along with Thor, I couldn't help think that "they kind-of look like the actors, but not completely so".

Captain America was probably the closest one to resemble the actual actor.

I think all three are Dragon's releases of the characters.
