Been looking everywhere (new and used book stores) for Boys From Brazil by Ira Levine for my Daughter (because that's what normal 15yr old girls read, right?) and came across Deadman's Road by Joe R. Lansdale.
I really loved On the Far Side of the Cadillac Desert with Dead Folks so I decided to give this a shot. I picked this up and Watership Down for my Daughter's second request for a book(because that's what normal 15yr old girls read, right?).
So far not to bad.

The Boys from Brazil by Ira Levin is available on Amazon both new & used (used hardcover version priced as low as 1 cent); here's a link: http://www.amazon.com/The-Boys-Brazil-P ... rom+Brazil

Currently reading Divergent by Veronica Roth. It will be interesting to compare it to the movie version, which comes out next month on Blu-ray and DVD.

The Boys from Brazil and Watership Down are both great reads.

Speaking of Ira Levin, I just picked up the dvds of the original Rosemary's Baby and the original The Stepford Wives. It's been ages since I've seen either of them. Now to go through the boxes and dig out my old copies of the books for comparison. 8)

Thanks for the heads up but I'm boycotting Amazon. I don't have an account anyways.
Think I'll probably hit ebay once my local search is exhausted.

Not sure what that means but I'm guessing it's a sports/soccer/football(as in soccer) reference? Sorry, to much
of a geek to understand that one.

1/2 through Ready Player One by Ernest Cline.

Fun romp through the 80's computer/video game scene.

(for those who fondly remember Trash-80's, C64's and 300 baud
modems, give it a read)

Picked up Chain Saw Confidentiallast Thursday and already more than halfway through it. Really awesome account of the making of TCM.
Also picked up Easy Riders Raging Bulls. Been wanting to get that one for awhile.
I'll be busy for awhile now.

A Night In The Lonesome October by Roger Zelazny. It's a nice, lite-weight, Halloween story full of classic horror characters written by one of the best!. It's a tradition with me...I read it every October. I highly recommend it!!!

Just started 13 Hours: The Inside Story of What Really Happened in Benghazi, by Michael Zuckoff with the Annex Security Team. A non-political account of the Benghazi attack, by the people who were there in the thick of it.

Finished "As You Wish: Inconceivable Tales from the Making of The Princess Bride"

Wasn't bad... more of a memoir/journal thing than anything else.

Finished "Hawk" by Stephen Brust. Last 3 novels haven't been as good,
so was really happy Vlad returned to his roots here. Was a great read!!

Now reading the latest Discworld novel, "Rising Steam" by Pratchett.

Finished 'Rising Steam'... thought there was too much going on in
this one that made it seem like it was going all over the place.

That and not a big fan of Moist. Would like to see Granny Weatherwax or
even some Librarian/Rincewind action ... it's been awhile!

Just finished The Savage Dead and started The Plague of the Undead by Joe McKinney.
I read a few of his books already and really enjoyed them and these were no different. Good quick reads and he knows how to keep the pace going.
Will definitely be picking up more of his stuff.

I just started Unbroken by Laura Hillenbrand; saw the movie a few weeks ago and it spurred me to read the book.
