Thanks for the pics. How was the show? Looks like a thin crowd.

You are all certainly very welcome for the pics!

I would say the show was on the sparse side. No long lines to get in. I was there at 10:30 a.m. and walked right in. Maybe it had something to do with the stars who were there---no real biggies to the figure modeling community. It was very disappointing for me to see how James "Time Tunnel" Darren aged---I seem to be the only person who doesn't age (lol). Karen Valentine, Michele Lee and Rita Moreno still looked pretty good!

On a scale of 1-10, I'd give the show a generous 7. I went to pick up the Vamp(irella) from Vin at Resin Crypt ( you Vamp fans would like this re-issue). The Alternative Images table was fantastic as usual as was Sassy's Satellite. John Apgar from Posthumous Productions made me an offer I couldn't refuse on Esmeralda---he simply opened the box and showed it to me! You Laughton Hunchback fans ought to check it out (see pics I posted)---a good likeness and a great casting. Yes, John did a fantastic job with the Moebius Peter Cushing Conversion Kit.

I don't know all the dealers in the hobby like you seasoned hobbyists, so whomever I am leaving out, please don't hesitate to mention.

Will be at Wonderfest and will take more pics.

Cool pics Ed!! Thanks for posting them.
It's a shame the styrene guys (M&M) weren't there, but hopefully they'll be at WF so you can take heaps of pics to keep us styrene junkies happy.

Ed,

I was at Chiller on Friday night and for a short time on Sunday. I agree the crowd was light both times I was there. I think the lack of a big name to draw people was a factor. Also don't forget there were few hot babes there this time. Hot babes also draw people in.

Scott at Alternative Images and Dan at Sassy always have great stuff. Their tables are a joy to look at and make me wish I had more money and more room at home. Of course I had to get something from both of them as well as Posthumous Productions.

I think the fall Chiller show always draws more people because of the proximity to Halloween and the model contest.

By the way the Vampirella I bought from you looks great. Many thanks,

Jeff

ahhh... that's becuz I wasn't! Although Kevin & Ed kept calling
me to rub it in that Cooper was attending, knowing I'm a die-hard
Alice fan!! So was sorely tempted!

Heck, you should have seen my reaction when I saw a 1st place
award on one of those photo's above and called Ed saying "WTF??!!
Who's passing out Model Contest awards to Apgar in April??!"

He calmed me down and told me that was a award given many
moons ago! Was about to go balistic! :)

Have no fear... We'll be there in Oct with bells (and camera) on!
