Yeah Steve, I thought I needed to post the link to the interview cause I didn't want anyone to have the wrong facts here. ;) you can see that Sara Karloff was in her fathers life.....

Thanks for the link Saul, you would think they would have healthy relationships with their parents though I'm sure no expert which is why I asked about Lugosi during the 50's. I've seen Ed Wood documentaries where it was clear Bela jr. didn't like Wood at all, so I always wondered what Bela's family life was like at that time.

The only Chiller show I went to I think was in 2000 and I remember during the costume contest a bunch of us were partying it up and having drinks with Dwight Frye's son and the next day Anthony told me he had crashed in our room, I had no clue, but I remember thinking afterwards that it was kind of cool in an odd way. So I can understand wanting to meet the children of our monster heros.

That wasn't Dwight Fryes son,..that was the Valet Parking Attendant for the Hotel, that guy was a lush. Come to think of it so were you and Anthony.

Travelers to unknown regions would be well-advised to take along the family dog. He could just save you from entering the wrong gate.

If they were so close, I have to wonder why Boris didn't even attend his daughters wedding?
