Working on refining and detailing the left arm
Started detailing the feet/claws
I could not reuse the right bicep and upper arm, so started sculpting a new upper arm
And while I am at it, I will most likely beef the chest up some too

Cut off the right arm to shorten the length of the arm.

Reduced the size of the shoulder and slimmed down the bicep and back of upper arm.

Re-attached the arm, but have a lot of blending and detailing left to do.

It probably would have been a lot quicker to just resculpt and replace the upper right arm…
Bash and learn…

Excellent work on these creatures. I like your fearlessness, how you are not averse to reworking what I would consider a finished product to make it even better. Combining your amazing monster work with these bases makes for an awesome combination. Really very impressive.

Thank you Trekkriffic!
Yeah, I have no problem reworking a kit if there is something about it that bugs me.

Started repainting my slimmed down demon bash.

Your demon reminds me of some of the ones we saw in “Hellboy”.

Working on the base for the howling werewolf bash.
Guess I should have started separate threads for these current efforts , but as always, sincerely appreciate everyone who is following and viewing these concurrent works in progress .

The right arm of the werewolf was extended out a bit too far away from the body.
So cut off the right arm and trimmed back the right side of the body to bring the arm back in some.
Reattached the arm and started blending it in.
Still may have to slim down the shoulders a bit, but it looks much better.

Repositioned the thumb on the right hand to make it more aggressive.
Beefed up the chest a bit.

Slimmed down the shoulders a bit
Threw on some primer to see how it looks all tied together
I am very happy with this new pose and modifications.

Still have some blending and detailing to do , and add more and sharper teeth.
Than in to the painting. I liked the original paint job, so I hope that I can duplicate it.

You are definitely keeping busy.

Things are coming together though.

Trying an expirement; added acrylic paint to woodland scenics realistic water to try and create liquid lava look
I am very curious if this will keep the vibrant “glowing” lava effect look when the realistic water cures…
I still need to add darker red color around all the outside edges of the lava flows

Looks good - I might have experimented with some neon paints mixed in there (in a small test cup first). Bonus is that they would glow under a black light. :-k
