Spiderman 2099 into DeadPool

#1 Post by kitman »

I have some down time due to tendinitis in my left ankle that has left me tied to a chair or the couch, so not being able to move around,I used my time to convert a Spiderman 2099 into Deadpool. I used Aves Apoxie sculpt and Apoxie Clay for all of the sculpting I filled the vinyl model with resin and keyed and pinned it all together. Knifes were made form brass tubing flatten on one end shaped and cover with Aves and filed to shape. All of the knifes are removable from their sheaths as are the guns.
Pouches and straps are Aves too.
Bullets on the belt are brass tubing and a brass nail head the tips are made of Aves
Guns are from a Marvel Punisher and the swords I bought off of eBay and are real steel.
The Sword sheaths came with the swords I wrapped them with Aves Clay.

BTW I really like Aves Apoxie Clay it holds form and detail and doesn't have any sag to it.

You can see the finished paint up in the H.E.

Hi Simo, yes the Horizon Spiderman is a great kit for conversions. Several years ago we have a member George Clark who did an amazing job at converting the kit into about 2 dozen different characters.

Thanks Wolfie :D
