JerseyFest 2020 CANCELED

Looks like news of the decision to cancel the fest started spreading today. Here's the announcement I read on Facebook:

This is an extremely hard announcement to make but It is with great disappointment that we are hereby announcing that JerseyFest 2020 has been cancelled. The change was driven by a combination of circumstances that are beyond our control related to the hotel and show programming in addition to our anticipation of the Covid impact. I absolutely tried my hardest to make the show happen as I thought after the year we have had that a great gathering of friends would have been some well needed relief. We shortly will be contacting those of you who already registered for classes or vendor tables. The hotel is fully aware and all cancellations will be honored with no loss to you. We will be back in 2021 and hope to see you all again soon!

I look forward to JerseyFest every year, so this news makes me sad. I know they made the right decision, but it still makes me sad.

They could rent a hall... there plenty you don't always need an inclusive hotel ball room...
I have been to various con which were just in halls ..
Elks association has halls for rent..

I saw in the 2020 topic that someone said they saw it was cancelled but I am unable to verify on the Facebook or website for Jerseyfest. Does anyone know for sure what the status is for 2021?

Looking forward to using this vaccination I got to attend shows again!

Well. They just posted. No show this year. It is a shame but understandable. Let’s hope the vendors all make it through and see everyone next year.
