To paraphrase old Ygor in "Ghost of Frankenstein". This project (the Gogos Frank head) was on my "to do" list for QUITE a long time, but EVERYTHING came to be after a chance* encounter with Mr Yagher at Resintopia II. VERY rarely do I get actual "face" time with a sculptor (and to have SO MANY in ONE PLACE; Messrs. Laudati and VanTine mere footsteps away, John Dennett a few more down the aisle, and so on.) Anyway, Jeff took a look at my set-up, I explained my (well OUR, since Posthumous has been part of the picture for me at shows for AGES now) niche in the GK world and we struck a deal.
Fast forward to yesterday and the long awaited announcement for Resintopia III. Not TEN MINUTES after exchanging online pleasantries with Joe and Robb re. "The Show" I get THIS in my inbox...
The artist; Mark McGovern,is one of the key figure painters at Round 2 and alot of you will remember his styrene figure articles back in "Modeler's Resource". Holy Cow, if I was wearing socks, they would have been knocked off! At any rate, I am NOT one to believe in coincidence, so I can but imagine what PART THREE in the franchise has in store!

* OK, not REALLY a chance encounter; Frank Winspur told me to ask Jeff a question JUST to see what his reaction would be. I THINK he figured I would ask him during his Q & A session, but I played it safe and caught him during a RARE alone moment. To be honest, I guess I'm lucky Jeff continued speaking with me AT ALL...(JUST KIDDING FRANK, I'm sure it was MY delivery, NOT your joke... )

Y'know Joe, you WERE the first person I told about the Gogos head (after Jeff of course). Would LOVE to have Jeff do another replacement, but I really don't think he likes working this small. But I'm confident I will be able to come up with SOMETHING that is a good fit for the both of us.
