Leaving PA at 3 a.m. Saturday. Expect to get to my hotel room at Resintopia 3 a.m. Sunday (provided I can find my room).

It would be great to see you at one of these shows, John. By now I owe you more than a few beers!

I went to the show on Saturday and had a good time seeing old friends and making some new ones. I picked up four kits and paints to work on three more at home. I would have bought a few more kits at the show, but I am not back to working full days yet and my funds are limited. Fortunately I will be able to get some of them through the mail when I can.

Looking forward to doing it all again at Jerseyfest in the fall.

Wish the Tuckster could have been there! Your ears should have been buzzing during Yagher's little talk. Made us appreciate John Tucky even more!

Resintopia 2 was a blast! Lots of kits to see and a great variety, from some old chestnuts to new "must-haves." Had an excellent time meeting new folks like Ed and those Rebels of Resin, catching up with the pros like Robb (Password? What password?) and Fritz, and enjoying the camaraderie of good people engaged in their mutual interest.
Oh yeah, and chatting with Jeff Yagher, who delivered an excellent Q&A and whose friendliness matches his outstanding talent -- priceless!
I've worked behind tables at various horror conventions since '94. The thing about Resintopia is that it's a relaxed, "user-friendly" show. Kudos to Vin, et al., for putting together a fun, enjoyable weekend (even if it did empty my wallet!) Great job!!!!!

Well, that explains it. I thought it was just earwax. As long as he didn’t tell everyone about my Ceramic Unicorn collection. That might have been embarrassing.

And just to be clear. I will make the same post when JF is coming up. I wish both shows the best of luck. :D But I'm not taking sides. 8)
