Travelers to unknown regions would be well-advised to take along the family dog. He could just save you from entering the wrong gate.

Sad thing is that it is getting harder and harder to find G kits at that show. If it doesn't say "Bandai" or "Marmit", nobody buys it anymore. Anybody (John) know if anybody will be there with kits?

matt from kaijumodeler will be there as well as WF...

unsure as to whether i'll have stuff for sale...ie a place to set up...never got on track with JD...

not sure about alan from monsters direct but kinda doubt it since they moved to hawaii

not much of a kit show since the 2 'biggies' house of monsters & XO facto stopped attending...

you ever see my 2nd zombiezilla????

Show got too expensive for me. Way too much work to do an out of town show and just end up breaking even. The new hotel didn’t help. Liked it a lot more when it was back at the Radison in A.H. Now if they ever decide to move the show back to Los Angeles...

Nope, never saw the second one John.

I have heard rumors (early talk) that next years show is moving to Minneapolis.

I agree about the hotel. Radisson was in a better location all around, plus it was cheaper and they tried to make it affordable. Heck, the last year there they did the hot dog buffet that only cost $5, if I remember right. This year I am dragging a cooler with me full of sodas and food.

Can't miss the original Godzilla suit actor, or Don Frye. Will be there with plenty of Kaiju kits for those attending the show. Also will have some good prizes for the modeling contest and we are raffling off last years modeling sessions project, the huge 60cm Godzilla 1962, completely built and painted. Should be a good time!

G-Fest has come and gone. Well, it is still going on for about anotehr hour I do believe, but the place is probably pretty cleared out, aside from the folks looking for the last minute deals.

The show was pretty nice but it did have numerous goofs. Video not working, poor scheduling, the standard horrible aspects of the hotel. But all in all, it was a good time.

Here is the Clubhouses own MVP John Raydrz (left) and myself (right...duh...) holding up his Zombie Zillas.

I'll post more pictures later if you folks would like.

Thanks to Matt at Kaiju Modeler for the Megalon kit! I'll be starting work on him in about a week.
