Al Reboiro has passed?

#1 Post by Scott Johansen »

I just read that GK veteran Al Reboiro passed away on July 13th. Has anyone else heard anything?

:o

:(
That explains why he hasn't been responding to emails.
This really saddens me.
I've 'known' Al for a long time. Met him on the old Aurora list back around the turn of the century.
Helped him put his website together.
I remember when he had the stroke that put him down for a long time, but still didn't take him out of the hobby. He still cast up some things for MiM and just a few years ago he and Gordy put out their book (which I sadly never grabbed a copy)

I remember him years ago when he produced his own things and copies of old plastic kits.
I have his resin copy of Scuzzfink. R.I.P

So sorry to hear of Al's passing. Such a long time figure in the hobby who did so much to promote it. RIP

Well that makes me feel bad too. I bought several things from him in the past and he was always a pleasure for me to deal with. He put out a lot of good kits and I am disappointed that he is gone from our hobby.
