Here's an unusual question ... could someone please recommend a relatively cheap (preferably gravity feed) airbrush for use with thicker paints?
I guess I'm looking for something with a wider tip. But, I'm specifically looking for something that would work with stuff like Createx metallics and pearlized paints. I just need it to spray the general flat coat without clogging every 5 seconds, and then I can use my finer brushes for detail work.

How about an iwata revolution. I think Tom sells them at wonderfest, I think I paid something like $75 last year. It's a big nozzle, I use it for just clear, but it works great. Compared to my hp-b it's like a garden hose.
I've also sprayed peal-ex powder pigments using dullcoat as a carrier though my medium tip sotar, but that is not necessarily a cheap option.

There's a couple ways you can go. You can get a bigger needle nozzle set for your Infinity (.4mm or .6mm) for about $40, OR you could go with something like a Badger 100 (with medium needle/nozzle), T&C Vega, or Omni. They are all Badger products, and aren't very expensive from the start, but you can sometimes get really good deals on their GARAGE SALE PAGE. I didn't see any of the ones I mentioned there, but it changes all the time...
Yup, as Ray says, a Paasche H would work fine as well, but wouldn't be gravity fed, and you'd need a hose adapter or QC nipple...

Just use more reducer and work your paint up in layers
