This was the first Steve Wang Creature bust that I painted years ago. Hand-brushed with loads of washes and drybrushing. I really loved how this kit came out and think I was able to capture the idea of the CFTBL that Steve was bringing to the sculpt. My dad loved this kit so much that he bought me another unbuilt one to trade me for that one (actually he wanted me to build it exactly the same)
Comments, good or bad, are always welcome.

I think it could use s bit more color variation, maybe some yellow browns, or some purple and pinkish shades in the gills, green is one of my favorite colors because it works with just about anything you throw at it.Consider darkening with cobalt blue, and lightening with a cadmium yellow with a smidgeon of white, do'nt be skiddish about experimenting with it, maybe even throwing in some mottle work could really turn that piece around.
It's all good. I am always looking for any suggestions. This kit would be very different if I painted it now...which is why I am looking to get another one (or two...)
This kit was painted at least a decade ago when I barely knew anything about painting. I just learned about washes and drybrushing. I have to get pictures of the second one I painted (the red one), but I have the third one (the brown one) up as well here on the board.
