Seeing such a nicely done job on a rare kit is always a pleasure. Thanks for sharing your work.

The only problem I have with this paintup is everyone has already said what I was going to say, oh wait I have another problem with it, it's not mine!, Superb and that doesn't even come close to what I think about it.

Whenever I see this kit I wish it was re-issued. Fabulous paint up on it, liked the attention to detail on the make up kit and Chaney's trousers!

This is one of the greatest kits I've ever seen! So many little pieces to paint. I'm in awe! Great job!

How many hours were invested in this?

Including the prep, probably between 50-60.

It was hard to stay focused on the trousers. The folds in the pants prevented the masking tape from adhereing fully. So because of the over spray on the pinstripes I kept going back to touch up the base coat. Painful.

I can relate completely.
I swore after finishing mine that I'd never try to do pinstripes again.
Congrats on a great looking kit.
Good to see another one completed.

I think this was the first kit that I built as a professional model builder, ,way back when and man what a kit to get you're feet wet with, the tool box alone is a challenge with about seventy items in it, plus the pin-strip pants on Chaney and, the three busts' wich are like three mini projects and, you're talking about a good solid two weeks to complete this amazing tribute piece.
Funny but as much as I love this kit, I never had the opportunity to get one.
Beautiful job brother on an exellent piece :bgrin: :bgrin:

Hi,

Please tell me how you did the Marble Effect. I have one of these in work, and am not sure how to do the marble.

Thanks,
