upcoming model kits shows in London or near London

I remember the Cheshunt show but it was a looooooooooooooog time ago.

Don't think they've had models at Chesunt for at least a decade...

There's a show in Hornchurch (London Borough Havering) 15th/16th March - its run by an IPMS branch, a lot of planes but I run the SciFi & Fantasy special interest group and we're always there.

not too many garage kit dealers, only show I know in the uk that has plenty of garage kits for sale is the UK Garage kit show later in the year near Crewe. or possibly Figureworld, held in the summer near Peterborough - not been there but heard there were plenty of SF kits last year, although maybe display rather than for sale. You will get some SF/fantasy kits at IPMS shows from people like RetroKit, MDC, DragonWyche but they're not at every show (usually most are at ScaleModelWorld at Telford in November).

In terms of show size, Hornchurch one is in a sports hall, its generally 50% display and 50% traders, most traders are general model dealers not specialist.

UKGK is the show for you if your looking for garage kits. All the top Uk producers will be there.It should be around the end of September. Keep an eye out on the boars for info or sign up to the group page on face book
