Gorgo with Thunderboy Replacement parts

#1 Post by Dale Stringer »

Hate to flood the forums this weekend, but a few projects finished at about the same time. Below are the Excellent replacement parts from Thunderboy - makes for an iconic scene with 'baby'(?) Gorgo......great stuff - - Really is cool!
Would also like to note that I had an excellent response from Scott McKillop at Monarch when I found I was missing the two neck halves - Answered the email in an hour and I had the parts here in the UK within a week. Good old fashioned service, Monarch.

As always Dale, you've done a beautiful job. I just received this kit and now have something grand to inspire me. :D
Scored Al Reborio's Lurch and It. Thanks to Joe "The Coop"

That looks great.

I have those conversion parts en route to me via Cult.
They shipped on Friday, so should be here soon.

Gotta ask. What did you use on the diving sphere?
It looks awesome!

I loved the way you painted it! The replacement parts look as if they came with the kit, they are that well done.

Agree with those who have already commented, it is fantastic and looks like "a kit". Good Job!

Dale your buildup is simply amazing. I never imagined that it could look so good.

If anyone wants a copy it will always be available at CultTVman, from time to time on eBay, or you can find Thunderboy on Facebook. I can't sell here yet as I'm kind of a lurker and don't have enough posts. :? I also hope to have something in the next issue of AFM, which is the plastic model kit issue. The nameplate shown in this thread is not available at CultTVman, only direct from me.

So, you going to update your site soon?
I don't see the Gorgo nameplate listed on there.

I'm so HTML challenged - I've been lazy lately and just putting new stuff on Facebook.

Me, I've just been HTML lazy.
Anymore, I just let Frontpage Express do most of the work instead of doing the coding by hand like I used to.
