Question about mini castles

#1 Post by Scrybe »

I used to see these things in all the gift shops up and down the Northwest Coast of the US in the early 90s and now I can't find them ANYWHERE, not even on the internet. They were these elaborate, tall fantasy castles with tons of spires and bridges. KIND of like these things but way bigger and cooler.

Anyone know what I'm talking about and how I can find them or images of them? I've searched ebay, as well as every combination of words I can think of in Google and can't find them.

I had the same question some months ago asking in all the shops that carried these and some replies were " they are no longer popular " but could't or wouldn't give me any of the suppliers they had, it's like the wall hanging dragons that used to be available even one with lighted eyes you just can't find them either. There were a few more listed, but these stood out.

Hm... I'm almost certain the castles I saw were not pewter. I think they were painted realistically as well.

They were a resin type material (like the Disney animal characters that came with those little paint pads and a brush one could paint) only they were pre painted wish they were still around as there were several types of castles available. Karl
