And there's the flag!

#1 Post by Racer X »

This kit came with two sets of hands, two semaphore flags and a spyglass.
But since I like racing I sent the li'l guy in another direction.
Hooray (once again) for printable decals.

Ditto on that ... I work at a Toy Distributor, doing photographer/retouching/copy writing and there web work. They have two showroom floors worth of toys, ranging from Mattel, Fisher-Price, to Hasbro, and all of the other stuff and in-between. Toys and games for all age groups. Japanese characters are included in the mix, Bandai, etc. It's great when an artist gets to interpret creative ideas through the mind of a child's likes and desires ... Great, great job.

Thank you so much for the comments, guys.
It's good to see that I'm not alone in my love of the naiveté and fun of the Japanese classics.
I really do approach these garage kits like I would the classic die-cast metal toys (by POPY and others) from all those many years ago.
These just need that look.

Beautiful paintwork, I'm not at all familiar with the character, but wonderfully done.

Thanks a lot!
Guess what? I don't know the least bit about Robodatchi, either. I just love the design.
