As I posted in the Workbench section some time ago, I decided to go grey scale for this one - my first attempt going black and white.
With the variety of flesh tones on the market I find painting in natural color easier.
But while it was intimidating at first I just had to keep thinking light and shadow for the grey scale approach.

BTW, the wool texture for the blanket (the single biggest challenge on the kit if you opt for this look) was achieved using an Iwata HP-CH airbrush which has an airflow regulator located under the color cup. I dialed down the pressure to get the spatter effect and used greys, black and white for the "wool" look.
