Very cool!.
Just staring at the crest made me think of those ancient Roman mosaics. :wink:

Yeah, I suppose it's weird. Just wanted to make it something of a display. Something different than anything else I'd seen. Some may say well there's a reason no one has done that before. LOL

That is simply gorgeous! How did you achieve the white scales? Drybrushing?

Thanks for the interst, Rob. The struggle - for me at least - to paint dinosaurs involves a lot of steps and layers. So it's more than dry brushing, though dry brushing usually happens a few times or more on any given area. The light scales areas were airbrushed a base, washed colors to fill the engraving - chalk pastels, dry brushing and maybe even some acrylic goaches and dull coat to periodically set layers. Hope that helps.
