Cyber Ninja II

#1 Post by michael »

Here´s my version of Cyber Ninja II, sculpted by Takayuki Takeya.
It´s a very old Vinyl kit released by Max Factory in 1988.

WOW! I love this kit and this is an outstanding build. Your colour palette is stunning and your detailing superb.

An inspired build. Thanks for sharing.

lovely work, I've been coming across pictures of Takeya's sculpting for a while and find it very inspirational, managed to
get Zeiram 1 and 2 on DVD and hope it inspires me to sculpt a figure - not that I think I'd hit that level!! The paint work
really brings this one to life, I've seen snippets of the live action on Youtube and a DVD of it is a must on my list.

Great to see an old kit get some love, most of Takeya's work seems very limited and very OOP, a couple of other sculptors
I came across have a similar sculptors on Google searches but the websites are always in Japanese etc so never have an idea
if it's a kit, sculpt etc......... so much inspiration on the web and in this forum, thanks again for sharing

Very nice, Michael. I really like the fallen cyborg details on the base. I've always liked this kit a lot. One of these was on the shelf at a local comic book shop for a decade. When i finally decided to buy it, it had been sold.
