Thanks, Spike... the Skydiver is a scratch build by my friend Jeff Wargo. Needs a restoration, stripping all paint.
I have a lot of Anderson stuff, just not in that room. best, K

Great looking set-up.
Nice to see another Gerry Anderson fan - that Skydiver looks amazing!
The Skydiver is a one off scratch build by my friend Jeff Wargo. He did a lot of pattern work for Lunar Models back in the day,
and some other cool stuff. He's a huge Anderson fan.
best, K

Also like you work area as well. Great number of other subjects as well I see.
I don't have pictures just yet, but you guys are giving me ideas. My workshop is basically the entire third bay of our garage, but I've only been using a part of it. My plan now is to set up more shelves for both display and storage. The "Harryhausen" shelves will house my recent haul of pretty huge "grail kits".... thanks to helpful input from several CH members, (most notably MonsterJones), I was able to gain a newfound confidence in my painting skills over the past year, which in turn has spurred my interest in doing some more substantial resin Harruhausen kits, rather than just "kitbashing" various vinyl kits ... I am really looking forward to it ...
Here's a couple of angles of my current work area. I plan on getting some more shelves and creating a nice display area in that third bay of the garage ... got the idea from MonsterJones' pictures above ...
FYI - my latest modification on my workbench ... my future son-in-law helped me to place 2 bricks under each leg of the bench... raising the tabletop 40" off the ground....so now I can work either standing up (or sitting down) without having to bend over ... and since I am 6' 5" this is a big deal ... my lower back usually starts expressing its displeasure as soon as I bend over at the desk to do some work ... problem solved ...
One thing we all strive for is a place that makes us feel happy, creative and centered. Some folks like a well organized work space, and others, like me like organized chaos. I started out on a small table, then to a larger closet with folding doors, then finally the wife got proud of my monsterings and let me have the spare bedroom, after my buildups started spilling into our living room. She is the best wife and occasionally post cell phone videos of "Today in Monsterjones Studios" on FB. I have seen some of y'alls custom work spaces over the years and they just blow me away.

Nostalgia can be a bad thing, especially when you are led by it.
