I thought they'd already PC'd the Pirates ride years ago?

In any case, the way they're doing it this time actually seems somewhat acceptable.

What they're doing is hiding what actually happened in history, making everything bright and rosy even if it is an amusement ride Disney smh. Karl

And not everything that happened in the past is worthy of a family amusement park...

What might have been acceptable decades ago as entertainment may now be seen with different eyes...

Do they still water board the mayor by lowering him down the well?

The real "TORTURE" is how much they and Universal raised prices this year. But they are committed to finding ways to shorten the lines. One Disney rep (paraphrased) "If they're on line, they ain't buying our crap !" Maybe try running the lines through the gift shops ?

Well if they're trying to figure out how to shorten lines, they are failing. We try to be in as soon as the parks open, and hit the road shortly after lunch on a weekend. Late AM and PM are insane in Anaheim.

And of course you always exit through the gift shop... :)
