What's up with Cult of Personality website?

#1 Post by Rob P. »

Hey Tom, I was chatting with a fellow enthusiast of your conversion products, and discovered your COPPROD website was down with a notice that changes are in progress. Any news on when you will be up and running again? All of us 1/8 scale builders get nervous about these things! :?

See The metaluna mutant thread he posted in on his status.

Hey Rob; I actually emailed you awhile ago about your quest for a styrene Godzilla head over on Hobby Talk (or am I misremembering? Maybe that was Ben?) Anyhoo; Spock (Hey Harry, I owe you a call, but it will PROBABLY be next week) is doing some MUCH needed renovating to the site and THAT IS ALL! No C&Ds, no cigarette smoking man, no secret codes, just using some well deserved family leave time before I have to go back to the day job to have Harry just GO NUTS!!!!
Hope to be up and running around WF weekend , with PICS of a new Ray Santoleri sculpt, and just MAYBE some PROGRESS shots of a new Yagher sculpt as well ! KINDA worth waiting for (IMHO, as always YOUR mileage MAY vary!)
Danny; thanks for chiming in my friend! :D
Tom
Also; for ANYONE who placed a pre-order with me for Mutant kits, roughly half have shipped, hoping to have ALL on their way by Saturday by Insured Priority Mail (no signature required). 8)

Whew! Glad to hear all is well Tom! Looking forward now to your grand reopening, but wish you the best with your family time. It's important to keep that time and enjoy it!

And that was Ben looking for the Godzilla head. Hobby Talk lost my profile completely when they did some kind of revamp, so I just lurk over there these days.

Thanks for the reply and the info. Whatever Ray is sculpting, I am probably in for one or two!

Yeah it was me looking for a classic Godzilla head...guess I never saw the email...anyway I'm good now, but Tom, you still have several projects I'm interested in...and it sounds like you have many more forthcoming! Glad all is well...will be sending you an email sometime this weekend or coming week!

Benny; as a VAMPIRE guy, I THINK you will be VERY HAPPY! But here is a teaser for something I HOPE to have ready for a LIMITED relaunch of the site in a couple of weeks...

Decals for the kit part to start then a resin replacement clackboard a bit down the road. :)

Yes, there's a thread at the top of the Monkey Bars. Tom passed away a few days ago. A huge loss for our community.

Wow, I'd not heard this. That's sad, he was a great guy and had good stuff.

MAY THE LORD HAVE CALLED HIM HOME AND BLESSED HIS FAMILY.

That's not Tom's website, that is Steve Iverson's site. Tom's site was http://copprod.com/ and I haven't updated it in months (per Tom's request).
