Hello folks,
She's an inspiration to me and many other artists around the world since the 50s / 60s and this is my version of her, the Queen of the Pin-Ups, Bettie Page.
It is a 1/6 scale sculpture made in super sculpey and putty epoxy.
Hope you like.
Thank you.
Another great one Miguel! I agree she looks much better not so busty. This is another really great one by a master sculptor. You never ceases to amaze Miguel. Keep the good stuff coming!

Carl-
Many thanks for such kind words and for generously supporting my art.
I really appreciate it Carl.
It is interesting to see how the "standards" of beauty have changed in the last 50 years. Bettie Page is a natural and curvaceous girl, untouched, as she was created. Modern beauties are so different with slender limbs, bigger butt and for most, enlarged bust.
Your model is perfect and so close to the old pictures taken by many professional photographers of that time.
I think you have another winner, Miguel. Terrific sculpt.

Agreed. Besides Bettie, look at Marilyn Monroe. While curvaceous, she'd be nothing special today, with the newer standards you mentioned.
I'm glad to see sculpts (kits?) of regular women every now and then.

I totally agree with you guys, true natural beauty is actually depicted especially by Bettie, Marilyn and etc. and not by what many people calls as the today's "beauty standards" IMO.
...and about the kits, stay tuned my friend.
Many thanks fellows.
