Pacific Pearl Painted

#1 Post by harpooner54 »

This is another in a series of WWII Pin-ups- the U.S. Navy this time
around. She is sitting on a Mark 14 torpedo that is being loaded
into a submarine. This is a painted resin casting of the original
sculpture, that was used as the master for a kit by KitKong's Model
Mansion. Approximately 1/8 scale, about 8.25" tall & 13.5" wide
on a 6"x8" base.

I don't normally buy girl kits, but I really like how the base and the 'story' of the subject are so well integrated.

Very nice.
Really like the way the hair turned out.
And the shading on the fleshtones is superb.
Such a nice clean look to it too. Works wonderfully.

Sharp, clean and beautiful!
The skin tones are excellent, she has a sun kissed look which is very nice indeed.
