I don't know how good it can be, there wasn't one talking vegetable alien in the trailer.

I think I just need to autopost that image when anyone opens a thread for a new reboot.

But since it's a modern reboot it will feature trendier vegetables like Kale and Quinoa

Star Trek was a 60s show. Batman was a 60s show. The basic concept is sound and can be approached from any number of angles just as Star Trek and Batman have been.

always felt the first season of LIS was very good...

then they started getting campy ... you can blame that on
the success of Batman.

The first half of the second season was good, but for the second half of the season the show became more Seaview bound. That is when Fox sold off more of the backlot, that coupled with the budget cuts hurt all the shows. They lost the NIMIR Seaview dock, The Seaview deck, the large tank for filming the underwater scenes, the towns on the backlot, the jungle area. The budget cuts also cut off filming outside of the studio.

Correct - they were on opposite networks in the same time slot starting in Spring of '66. Batman was kicking ass and LIS started camping it up to compete.

Here's a little trivia - according to IMDb, Carroll O'Connor, Jack Elam, and Victor Buono were among the actors considered for the part of Dr. Zachary Smith.

Finished watching it last night.

Who ever was in charge of editing this, should be fired!

5 minutes into ep1, I thought I had accidentally started ep2 or
something and had to stop it and verify this was in fact ep1!

Up til ep4 I was sure there must have been a pilot ep made and
somehow I missed it. Went back and displayed the episode page
and scrolled down to make sure... trailer, 2nd trailer...nope, no
pilot episode.

Just would have loved a beginning part... something telling us about
the mother ship and informing us about the other Jupiter's and what
the mission overall is. You get flashbacks...but they are few and
far btwn.

A crap load of plot holes in this series... numerous actions don't make
sense. But overall I thought it was ok. Dr Smith definitely steals the
show. She was very, very good.

The robot, upon 1st seeing him, I thought was a flashback to Titan AE!!
I know I've seen that guy before...somewhere!

Anyone else think Judy's too young looking for Don West to hit on her??!

Will's alittle TOO wimpy.

But overall, I'll watch season 2. Give it a 4 outta 10. Loved the concept
that that there's a bunch of Jupiter's and Dr. Smith's real name is Harris.
<chuckled at that>.
