Lon Chaney Jr.

#1 Post by dklange »

I saw this sculpt at WonderFest this year and thought it would be perfect to paint it with a moonlight highlight on him. So here's the result... Lon Chaney Jr. in the moon light, we all know what happened to him after this! The bust is 1/4 scale and sculpted by Ryan Buckalew.

It's hard for you to out do yourself, but this was an ingenious use of paint to capture the moonlight and those pants are fantastic.

Looks great, Denis!

Love the way you handled the base and also really dig the tweed pants.

Bravo!

Real nice job, Denis. The more I look at it the more I appreciate your originality in using the moon as a lighting effect. Lon would be real proud of this.
