I think it's "Here be Beaver's and Moose" land.

S01E02 - "Donkey Patrol"

I don't watch that many weekly TV programs, but from what I DO watch . . . this goes straight to the very TOP.

This week sees the introduction of "Cyborg" - and he fits in REALLY well.

This episode was absolute genius - funny (VERY funny!), irreverent, straight-up-WEIRD, perfectly cast etc. I'd forgotten how good Brendan Fraser can be! - and even though Robot Man is now minus his Motörhead T-shirt, he still rules (via Fraser + Riley Shanahan) :)

All this, a talking cockroach, an atypical donkey, and 64 parts for the price of 1 (Crazy Jane, not Mr. Nobody) - what more can you ask for? (whatever it is - we'll probably get it later!)

Just damn clever. The writers deserve every bit of praise they are getting. REAL (instead of hyped) entertainment. Enjoying this even more than Titans.

S01E03 - "Puppet Patrol"

An enjoyable romp - but nowhere near the high bar set by the 1st 2 episodes.

The puppet scene was brilliant & totally surreal - and there were still plenty of laughs to be had. They're not shy on the language & OTT violence either.

Still loving it - but this episode got the bronze (so far).

PS: Crazy Jane & Robotman are badasses! :D

Doesn't surprise me - we're behind as always

I've no idea how my buddy gets half the shows he does - he seems to have access to pretty much ANYTHING worldwide.

Finished Season 2 last night and enjoyed the series...

(thought the last 3 eps of season 1 kinda jumped the shark, but overall
thought the writing was good!)

The actress doing Jane is really really good! Love that character the most!

Agree RE: Jane (Diane Guerrero). She's a stunning looking lady too (with an interesting real-life history). However - everyone (with the possible exception of the fella playing "Cyborg") does a great job.

Season 3 is due some time later this year - possibly 10 episodes (it's a bit unclear right now).
