Iron Man MK IV

#1 Post by veedubb67 »

Picked this up at the 'Nooga Nats last year. Converted the Moebius Models MK VI to a MK IV by removing the triangular ARC reactor and replacing it with a round one. Lit up the eyes, ARC reactor and repulsors. Base coated with Tamiya Gold then sprayed Tamiya Clear Red and clear coated. Scratch-built the base and used a Real Rust product to give it a worn effect.

Very cool.

I had it in my stash from Paragrafix. He did a limited run for Sci-Fi University at WonderFest years ago.

FYI - I know it's hard to see in the pics, but the eyes and ARC are lit with cool white LEDs while the repulsors are Warm White.
